Well we had a heartbreaker Saturday - Manti lost 31-28 in the last 2.5 seconds with a field goal! I could just feel my heart breaking for the players, coaches, and fans. Logically you knew someone had to lose it just sucks when it's YOU!! Manti had an incredible season - the coaches were so great with the players. Our family had a blast traveling the state watching them play. My son is already looking forward to next year - which will be tough with Manti going 3-A. Thanks Manti for a great year and we are excited for what the future holds for Templar Football!!
Oh that's SO sad! Sorry Taylor! Way to start off you high school football career though! Gotta love the way this year has gone! (NICE shot by the way!)
Glad to see you could get it posted. Our house was in a bit of a depressed state... lol Alex's Senior year and she is such good friends with all those seniors on that team and then her brother being on it... it just about killed her to see them all crying. Kotah is so depressed there is no practice now... he would do it year round if they would let him! He can't even start wrestling yet though, because of that ankle... he didn't give it a rest because he was not giving up football so now he has to. It's not healing as quickly as it should've if he would've done what Joe told him too... lol. Anyway, He's in the musical this week so I guess it's a good thing since he can't wrestle yet. Good shot... we got many but have been too depressed to even do something with them... even the haka ones...ugh Well, onto other seasons...right?! Mimi
by the way ladies that's Deseret News picture not mine!! I couldn't have taken that picture while I was closing my eyes hoping that they wouldn't make the kick!! LOL Our house was pretty bummed and Taylor was just plain old ticked off that they lost!! oh well seriously who remembers who won when you're older?? I certainly can't!!
I feel your pain, only mine was the week before. I am glad to see your blog, lover to see your kids and here what is going on. Everyone should have one!
Taylor is 15 and a freshman at Manti High. He is playing football and loving it. He is the freshman class president and finding out that it is a lot of work!! Taylor is into music (he loves AC/DC and other 80s bands - makes his daddy proud!) , collecting legos and coins, and hanging out with his buddies playing XBox. He has his learner's permit and is looking forward to restoring an old truck with his dad by the time he is 16!
Breanna Marie
Bree is 13 and finally a teenager!! She is in 8th grade and loving being the big kid on campus. She will be a cheerleader next year for MHS. Bree is also playing the cello in orchestra. She loves to make any kind of crafts, listen to music (new stuff and even country - much to her dad's dismay!), and hang out with friends!
Kierra Elizabeth
Kiki is 11 and in the 5th grade - she is also enjoying being the big kid at the school. Kierra has recently started taking gymnastics and is really enjoying it. We lost our piano teacher so we are looking to get Kiki enrolled with another one so hopefully we can keep the music thing going. Kierra loves music - all kinds, tormenting her sisters, and hanging out with friends.
Emma Katherine
Emma is 8 and in the 3rd grade. She was recently baptized and was extremely excited about the whole thing! She now gets to go to Activity Days with Kierra and really feels "grown up". Emma continues to love school and do very well in all areas, especially reading, spelling, and math! Because of older siblings Emma has discovered music and all the heartthrobs on all the covers of the teen magazines!! Emma is also taking a gymnastics/tumbling class and is learning lots of new things - it's pretty hard for her but it's a good thing! Emma wants to take more piano lessons so we are working on that.
Dalton Clark
Dalton is 4 and in preschool with Miss Norris, which he LOVES! He is definitely our "go-getter" and is pretty much going constantly from the time his eyes open until the time his "battery" wears out and he crashes for the night! Dalton loves Transformers (the movie ones), Star Wars, Spiderman, and Batman. He will perform any of them on demand pretty much whenever you want! Life is good for the youngest in the family and he loves all of his siblings but he sure idolizes his big brother and wants to play football when he grows up!
